Why do I need the desktop app?
The geo-browser requires a desktop application to manage browser instances and proxy connections securely. This cannot be done from a regular web browser.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All connections are encrypted end-to-end, and your browsing data never touches our servers. We use per-session HMAC keys with automatic expiration.
Why does Windows show a warning?
Windows SmartScreen warns about new software. Click "More info" → "Run anyway" to proceed. You can verify the download using SHA256 checksums or VirusTotal.
Why does macOS block the app on first launch?
macOS Gatekeeper blocks apps from unidentified developers. Right-click the app and select "Open" — you only need to do this once. The app is safe and verified with SHA256 checksums.
